Star Apple Foundation - ZERO Malnutrition Projects
In August 2015 Star Apple Foundation launched their 'ZERO Malnutrition' program in Maasin City, Southern Leyte
Our First project in Combado includes the city dumpsite. 14 children are been fed here twice daily with fortified food from FMSC in The US
We are also feeding a further 50 children in the center of Combado twice daily
Twins, Jessa Rose & Jessa Mae are two years old. Jessa Mae weighed 7.5KG & Jessa Rose 8.0KG at the end of August. We expect to have them both up to over 10KG by Christmas.
There are 70 barangays in Maasin City, and we are planning to put all of them on fortified food in the next two years, With Your Help. It costs us only about $6 per month for each child, as the food itself is from FMSC and packeded by volunteers in the US
Star Apple Foundation - Re-housing Projects
